How does the Aqua pH Ionizer– Series compare with other Water Ionizers on the market?
The price of quality water ionizers will vary from $1,000- 4,000. The more expensive ones are usually distributed through a networking (MLM) scheme which drives the price up. What are the Aqua pH Ionizer System’s Electrodes made of?
The electrodes are composed of Solid Titanium with a Dip-treatment platinum coating, which is the standard in the industry. Titanium is used because it is extremely hard. The platinum is coated, NOT electroplated, on to the titanium. Platinum is used because it is an excellent conductor. The Aqua pH System does NOT use stainless steel. Stainless steel was used for Water Ionizer electrodes in the late 1980's and was found not be a suitable material because they did not last more than a a few years. The industry began using titanium platinum-coated electrodes as a whole in the early 1990's because it will last indefinitely.
How does the Aqua pH Ionizer System’s Warranty work?
The unit comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. If anything goes wrong with the unit during that period, return it to us and we will either repair or replace it, for free. If taken care of properly, your unit should last 15 years. NOTE: Filter is not covered under warranty.
How long does the filter last?
The average filter should last between 9-18 months depending on water quality and usage. There is a filter life indicator on the system, which will tell you when your filter should be replaced (approx 10,000 liters) Replacement filters cost around $65-135 each depending on the filtration level you desire. Is the Aqua pH Ionizer easy to install?
Yes! The average installation time is less than 10 minutes. The Aqua pH Water Ionizer comes with a diverter that hooks up to the faucet on your sink and a single tube that can easily be cut to length as needed. Attach the hose to the outlet on the diverter and the intake line of the unit. The other hose should be connected to the Acid outlet line of the unit which drains into the sink. (Remember, Alkaline and Acid water are always produced simultaneously). Plug in the unit, preferably into a GFI (protected) outlet. As water is diverted into the system, it will automatically turn on and begin producing Ionized Water. You will usually see a slightly dark discoloration the first time you turn on a new filter. This is carbon being washed from the filter and is completely normal. Let it continue to flush for a couple of minutes or until water is clear.
